Follow your passion! Vashti Hurt never wanted to be a banker. She wanted to cover sports. Now, she is the founder and editor-in-chief of Carolina Blitz, a sports media site based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that covers the Panthers and college basketball.

So how did she go from banking to sports media? We discuss her career transition, how she has set Carolina Blitz apart from mainstream media, and what expansion might look like.
